Why Absolute?
We are a professional damage management firm specialising in loss prevention, mitigation and remediation.
Professional Damage Management Practitioners – competent in all aspects of:- damage management (and associated mitigation and remediation techniques)
- health, safety and environmental management
- project and quality management
- industry best practice.
Our main areas of business are:

|
|
After any incident damage can escalate quite significantly if it is not dealt with immediately.
Our specialist ‘Triage’ team can be mobilised immediately the moment we are notified of a loss, with the main purposes in mind:
|
|

But of course we can only achieve this with your cooperation. Once the emergency situation has been stabilised, we will begin to prepare a restoration specification focusing on the most appropriate methods with the minimum of costs and disruption.
Business Interruption and Continuity After any incident the greatest threat of loss to any business is the loss of operations and sales. It is a known fact that many small businesses fail to recover after a major fire or flood.
This is where we can help you recover. Our specialist team, dedicated to your ‘Business Continuity’ will work with you to develop the most efficient and effective method of preventing and controlling loss, whilst focusing on the continuation of business operations.

Environmental Control and Conditioning
Indoor environmental air quality is probably the single most important factor which needs consideration after any incident of damage or disaster. At Absolute we employ the services of both our "In-house" and "External" Indoor Environmental Professionals (in specific chosen fields). The indoor environment affects us all – from the owner and occupants, to members of the public and associated damage management practitioners.
Our mission is simple: To restore the indoor environment back to safe, acceptable, pre-loss conditions without compromise.

Airborne substances:
Airborne substances are one of the biggest causes of illness and disease associated with contaminated indoor environments. Our specialist team of ‘Indoor Environmental Professionals’ will implement specific containment and environmental control measures to help prevent further loss and the potential for harm.

Water Damage
Our specialist team of experienced and BDMA qualified damage management practitioners are equipped to deal with any water damage situation. From emergency containment and mitigation, to project management and full restoration, our team are there to take control and ensure your loss is dealt with in the most professional manner, with the minimum of disruption and cost.
Environmental control and conditioning of water damage sites is a critical function in controlling secondary damage and the escalation of unnecessary costs. Our experience team will focus on the triage of the site – implementing emergency measures where appropriate – concerned with the most important and critical factors of the client’s business or home.
Restorative drying systems will installed based on the specific nature of the loss, characteristics of affected materials, abnormal excess moisture and use of the business of home. As each water damage site is unique, the necessary methods and equipment can vary significantly from site to site. However, you can be rest assured Absolute will use the best available techniques to expedite the project in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
Water damage projects will be subject to a final inspection with the issuance of a Project Completion Report. The report will document conditions of the structure pre-incident, incident and post-incident with focus on ‘acceptable levels of moisture’ within structural and contents, after ‘restorative drying’ has been completed, that will not cause secondary damage or compromise human health.

Indoor Microbial Ecological Management
All indoor environments have a ‘normal microbial ecology’. This ecology is seen to ‘shift’ from day to day, and as long as it is controlled, is acceptable within the indoor environment.
Fire and water damage can amplify indoor microbial ecologies to potentially damaging levels, which if left, can result in material deterioration and failure and which could have a detrimental effect on human health.
Our specialist team will implement the most appropriate methods of elimination and control to address a number of environmental and economic challenges – the priority to establish and return to a pre-loss microbial ecology.

Fire and Smoke Damage
Our specialist team of experienced and BDMA qualified damage management practitioners are equipped to deal with any fire and smoke damage situation. From emergency containment and mitigation, to project management and full restoration, our team are there to take control and ensure your loss is dealt with in the most professional manner, with the minimum of disruption and cost.
Environmental control and conditioning of fire and smoke damage sites is a critical function in controlling secondary damage and the escalation of unnecessary costs. Our experience team will focus on the triage of the site – implementing emergency measures where appropriate – concerned with the most important and critical factors of the client’s business or home.
Combustion related products such as PICs (particles of incomplete combustion) and PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) are considered potentially health threatening. Smoke condensate and residues such as HCl (hydrochloric acid) and resulting chlorides are extremely corrosive to vulnerable materials such as metals and concrete.
Our experienced team will:- Undertake surface sampling and testing regimes to establish potentially damaging levels of corrosive residues;
- Implement the necessary containment, mitigation and remediation techniques;
- Monitor and evaluate the decontamination process;
- Complete final surface sampling and testing with the issuance of a hand-over certificate once the results are acceptable.

Indoor Environmental Management (mitigation, remediation and control)
The built (or indoor) environment is common and most important to all of us. When contamination is present the air quality becomes compromised – thus having the potential to cause serious ill-health and disease.Not only is the indoor air at risk, so are materials and surfaces.
Excessive abnormal moisture (water damage, condensation ‘dampness’), microbial growth and associated products (bacteria, fungi and mould, pathogenic agents etc.) all have the potential to cause material deterioration and impact human health and safety.
